Kaltag is a Native Athabascan Village.
Located on the Yukon
River.
Noted for trapping, fishing and hunting.
They live an old time
subsistance life style.
Only way to get to Kaltag is buy air and on the Yukon
River.

She is one of the ladys that I work with and my
friend.
Pretty Sunset
Martha and her mom and sister cutting salmon for
winter food. In the back salmon hang on drying racks to dry in the
sun.
Top picture is the old house Martha grew up in.
The bottom one is their new house.
