By using this tutorial you agree to my terms
Feel free to use your own colors for this. Also feel free to make your own vectors. Make them any way you want. This is just how I make them and you can do them your way.
For this tutorial you will need Eye Candy 4000 and Jasc PSP 8 or 7
For those that don't have PSP8 I will provide the ball tube.
Eye Candy 4000 Bevel Boss preset SM_windchime goes into the bevel boss folder.
Ball and Bubble preset SM-RWBChime go into the C:\My Documents\My PSP8 Files\Brushes folder.
Ball tube and RWB Wind chime canvas goes in a psp folder.
sm_ Flag bmp goes into the environments map folder.
The flag bmp goes in the Environment map folder in the C:\My Documents/ My PSP8 Files\Environment map folder.
1. Open canvas click on the second layer red 1, load alpha channel flood fill with color #B12D38, apply the Eye Candy bevel boss preset. Do the same for the other red layers.
2.For the blue layer, load alpha channel flood fill with color #000498 and apply the same bevel.
3. For the star layer load alpha channel flood fill with white, and apply the same bevel but change the shadow color on the Lighting tab to #000498.
4. Now we can go to the first layer white, load alpha channel flood fill with white, apply the bevel but change the bevel height scale to 72, the smoothness to 97, change the color to #B12D38.
5. Turn off the background layer and merger visible. Resize this layer by 75%. At this point I changed the background color to white.
6. Now we need to resize the canvas, 450 width, 700 height click on the placement top arrow.
7. Add new layer name it rope and click on the tube icon and choose the rope size 25.
If you don't have the rope tube just use straight line tool set at size 5 and then apply Super Blade Pro or bevel.
We want to make a straight rope line. Turn on ruler and put curser on 100 by 300, click once then hold down the shift key and move mouse to 100 by 600. That should make a long enough rope for the balls to hang on.
8. Move the rope layer to bottom. Duplicate it 3 times.
For PSP 8 user.
9. Open new image 300X300. Effect/Artistic Effect/Balls and Bubbles, apply SM-RWBChime preset. Copy/paste this to the canvas. Resize 50% to 75%. Duplicate the ball and resize again 25% to 50% depending on the size you want to go on the ropes. Add as many balls as you like for the chimes.
For PSP 7 users
10. Open the sm_balland bubble tube. Copy and paste to your canvas. Duplicate and resize as above to get the sizes you want.
11. Click on one of the rope layers. Add new layer. Use the rope tube again set at 25. Click once on the left corner of flag. Then hold down the shift key and move mouse to center to how high you want the string, click once, continue to hold shift key down and move curser to right side of image click one again. Now you have your rope string for a hanger.
12. For the round ring at the top I used the preset shape ellipse set foreground color to white line size 10. Pull out to the size ring you want. I put a ball in the middle of mine and duplicated it to make it darker than the others.
13. Last is the optional drop shadow. Vertical -13, Horizontal 22, Opacity 17, Blur 11, color black.
