Red White and Blue Angel

Feel free to use your own colors for this. Also feel free to make your own vectors. Make them any way you want. This is just how I make them and you can do them your way.

You will need my selections here.

I used satin tile made by Opal. You may get them here.

Thank you Opal for letting me use your tiles for this.

For this tutorial you will need Eye Candy 4000 and Jasc PSP

You can get the preset for bevel boss, gradient glow and some extras here.

The presets below goes into Eye Candy 4000 folders.

sm-rwba01 goes into the bevel boss folder.

sm-rwbgradient glow goes into the gradient glow folder.

1. Open  transparent image 490X630.

2. Add new layer. Load selection 01 flood fill with white satin tile. Apply bevel boss setting sm-rwba01.

3. Add new layer. Load selection 02 flood fill with white satin tile. Apply same setting.

4. Add new layer. Load selection 02 again and apply the gradient glow, sm-rwbgradientglow setting.  Deselect load selection 01 then invert and delete. Move the glow layer between the 2 wing layers. Lower the opacity to 35 %.

Merge layers visible.

Optional: Use the smudge tool to feather out the edges.

size 14, hardness 50, opacity 50, step 1, density 50.

Use steps 2 threw 4 for the other wing.

5. Add new layer. Load selection 05 arm selection. Flood fill with #FBDCC5.

Click on the lock in the layer palette to lock the transparence. Apply cutout. vertical and horizontal 1, opacity 100, blur 15, color #D4B096.

6. Add new layer. Load selection 06 skirt. Flood fill with the white satin tile. Lock transparence and apply same cutout but change color to #CFCCC3 and change blur to 50.

7. Add new layer. Load selection 07 stripe. Flood fill with red satin tile. Lock transparence and apply same cutout but change color to #80000 and change blur to 35. Do the same for 08 stripe.

8. Add new layer. Load selection 08 neck. Flood fill with #FBDCC5. Click on the lock in the layer palette to lock the transparence. Apply cutout. vertical and horizontal 1, opacity 100, blur 25, color #D4B096.

9. Do the same as above for selection 09 head. Change the blur to 15.

10. Add new layer. Load selection 10 blouse. Flood fill with tile starsatinopal, 50%. Apply same cutout change color to #000040.

Open psp face and copy/paste as new layer to the head. Add new layer and use the hair tube to put some hair on.

To load hair tube click file/export/picture tube.
