By using this tutorial you agree to my terms Feel free to use your own colors for this. Also feel free to make your own vectors. Make them any way you want. This is just how I make them and you can do them your way.
For this tutorial you will need Jasc PSP You will need the inner bevel here. Put it into the preset in PSP. Open transparent canvas 700X200. Choose the line width 1, antialias and create as vector checked. Set background color red #B3201E foreground set to nil. Draw out a rectangle at these settings Convert to raster layer. Duplicate 4 times. The 4th one to click on the lock in the layer palette to lock the transparency, flood fill with white. Duplicate this once. You should have 3 red stripes and 2 white. Line them up to where they are even at the ends. Change background color to blue #1116EB. Draw out a rectangle using these numbers stripes and rectangle are lined up. Lock the transparency on the top red stripe. Use the air brush tool, with these settings Size 26, Hardness 24, Opacity 100, Step 25, Density 41, color 911C19. Air brush along the top and bottom edges. Change color to white, and change the Size to 8 and Density to 20 brush down the middle of the stripe. You will have something similar to screen shot. Now use the smudge tool using these settings. Size 44, Hardness 0, Opacity 50, Step 1, Density 50. Drag tool along to blend in the colors. You can always add more dark red or white as needed. Do the same for each red stripe. For the white stripe use gray #C4C4C4. You wont need to put the white stripe down the middle. If you get too much gray you can always add some white. Merge visible the stripe layers. Now click on the blue rectangle and move it to the top if it isn't. Lock the transparency and apply cutout using these settings. Vertical and Horizontal 0, Opacity 100, Blur 50 color #1C218A. Use preset shape using star #2 color white. Apply inner bevel SM-star. Apply drop shadow horizontal and vertical 2, opacity 100, blur 15, color #0A0B44. Click on the text tool font set at 72, vector and antialias checked, color #1116EB stroked and fill. You can stretch and pull the nodes till it is the size you want to fit on the stripes. Convert to raster layer. Apply same inner bevel, change drop shadow to horizontal and vertical 1, opacity 53, blur 3.5. Use preset shape star #2 again to make a small star on one of the letters. Duplicate the star till you get enough for the word. I put 3 on each side of letters. Apply the same inner bevel and drop shadow. Merge visible layers. I used the crop tool to cut down with no background showing. Hope you had fun with this. As always if you need any help or have any questions just ask.
