By using this tutorial you agree to my terms

Feel free to use your own colors for this. Also feel free to make your own vectors. Make them any way you want. This is just how I make them and you can do them your way.

You will need my selections here.

You will need the crystal bmp tile here also face and doves are there.

Open the tile make a duplicate of the tile. Put the crystal bmp tile into the psp texture folder. An keep the duplicate copy open but minimized.

For this tutorial you will need Eye Candy 4000 and Jasc PSP

1. Open  transparent image 625X800.

Set foreground color to white, background color to #D4DFEE. Set the textures as image below.

2. Open selection 01 dress, flood fill with white, then flood fill over it with the blue. The crystal texture will show threw the blue.  You will be doing this through out the working of the Angel. Deselect  Lock the layer transparency by clicking the icon that looks like a pad lock. see image below.

Click on the cutout using these settings. Vertical and horizontal 0, opacity 75, blur 50, color #7B899D. By locking the transparency of the layer  you don't have to add an new layer for the cutout.

3. Add new layer. Open selection 02 dress, flood fill with white, then flood fill over it with 7C8DAB. Lock transparency as before, apply same cutout but change color to 44505E. Load selection 02 dress again, add new layer apply (do not lock transparency) apply drop shadow using these settings. Vertical and horizontal 0, opacity 100, blur 25, color #44505E. Deselect, turn off dress layer and erase drop shadow at top and sides. We want the shadow to be on the bottom of the scallops.

4. Add new layer. Open selection 03 dress. Flood fill as before changing color blue to #A6B5D0. Deselect apply drop shadow.

5. Add new layer. Open selection 04 dress. Open copy of crystal tile open pattern tool. Use these settings scale 100 angle 0. Flood fill with pattern tile. Effects/Sharpen/Sharpen. Deselect open eye candy click on gradient glow using these settings. Color would be white.

6. Add new layer. Open selection 05 top left. Flood fill with white, then flood fill over it with 7C8DAB. Lock transparency as before, apply same cutout but change color to 44505E.

7. Do the same as in step 6 use selection 06 cuff and change color to #9AA1AE. Gaussian blur 1 apply cutout change blur to 25. Move layer down one.

8. Add new layer. Open selection 07 right sleeve. Flood fill with white, then flood fill over it with #7C8DAB. Lock transparency as before, apply cutout change blur back to 50.

9. Click on top left layer. Add new layer. Open selection 08 belt. Change color to A6B5D0. Apply color as before, cutout change blur to 10.

Now dress part is all done. All that is left on the dress it is to decorate. I used the crystal tile using the draw tool set on Bezier curve size 3 to 5. Then gaussian blur 4 to 6.

10. Click on the left cuff layer. Add new layer. Open selection 09 neck. Flood fill with #F3D3BB. Lock transparency on layer and use same cut out settings but change the shadow color to #8B6B53.

11. Add new layer. Open selection 10 head. Flood fill with same color as neck. Apply same cut out change blur to 25.  Open face tub supplied in download. Copy/paste onto head.

12. Add new layer use air brush or paint brush paint. Brush on a small area around head gaussian blur 1 or 2. Apply eye candy fur settings. Image below.

When I make my hair I paint a little then apply the fur. Play with the settings till you get something that you like.

12. Add new layer. Open selection 11 wing, flood fill like before with either white or light blue. ( I have about a dozen wings, can't decided which I like)LOL Selections/modify/contract by 20, add new layer flood fill with the crystal tile. Selections/modify/contract by 10 delete. Sharpen This will be our trim layer. We will come back to it in a bit. Click back on the wing layer, gaussian blur 2, apply eye candy jiggle effect using these settings.

That makes a nice feathery look. But we want it a little smother. So take your retouch tool use these settings. Smudge, size 75, hardness 50, opacity 50, step 1 and density 39. Now just pull out just a little then back in a bit. All we want to do here is smear it just a bit.

13. Now we will go back to the trim layer. Use the magic wand click on center of trim. Go to selections/modify/expand by 2. Add new layer. Use the air brush tool apply some blue colors to this layer using these settings. Size 100, hardness 39, opacity 35, step 25 and density 39. Add a few sprays of each color you choose. Gaussian blur 2. Now use the eye candy fur settings as below. Or play with your own settings.

Lower the opacity to around 50. Move this layer below the trim layer. Merge visible the 3 wing layers. Copy and paste mirror image. Line up to other side of angel,

14. Add new layer Open selection 12 halo. Flood fill with the crystal tile. Sharpen. Apply the round inter bevel.

15. Add new layer open selection 13 hand. Flood fill with flesh color as in neck and head. Do same for hand as you did for neck. Please feel free to make your own hands. I am really bad and hands. LOL

That's all there is to Opals Guardian Angel. I wrote this tutorial for my friend Opal. She loves angels. She is such a sweet heart. (she says she is a meany but really she is just a sweet angel) Opal is the one that taught me how to do the hair. Opal loves eye candy so I tried to use it a lot on here. She says my tuts are just to easy. Opal hope this one will take ya more than 10 minutes to do. LOL  Love ya Opal.

Hope everyone had fun with this. If you need any help just ask.
