PSP 8 Bubbles

The balls and bubbles effect is a lot of fun to play with.

You can make snow globe glass out of them or

Just make pretty balls and bubbles.

Open image 300 X 300 background color white.

Add new layer.

Click on Effects/artistic effects/ balls and bubbles.

Use the screen shots below for the settings.

This makes your bubble the size of your canvas.

Here is where the fun part comes in. Change the bump map and environment map to get some different patterns. If you want just a hint of the color in the environment map lower the opacity.  

Now if you want to make a globe glass from this continue on.

Use the selection tool  set on circle, place curser at center of canvas.

drag it out to

Now you can go to selections save to alpha channel. Add new layer and flood fill with your choice of color or pattern. Move this layer down to where it is under the glass. Now is the time to fill it with a tube of your choice.

The next part is for making sparkles for animation. Omit this next part if you used your own sparkles.

Add new layer and use the air brush with these settings.

I use the gradient metallic gold 02. Air brush around to get the amount you want on.  Duplicate layer and rotate 45 degrees. Do this 2 times.

Resize canvas using these settings.

Now you have plenty of room at the bottom to add your favorite globe base. I just used a pc ding to make my base. Then I applied one of my Super BladePro presets. You can get them here if you like. When you get a base on then crop to size you want. You don't need a lot of extra space below base.

A special tip from Nancy.

Duplicate glass layer and mirror.

I lowered the opacity to 75%.

It really makes it look like a glass globe.
