For this tutorial you will need Eye Candy 3 and Jasc PSP

You can get my selections, here.

Open transparent image 700X500.

Feel free to use your own colors for this. Also feel free to make your own vectors for Harrison. Make him any way you want. This is just how I make him and you can do him your way.

Open Wing selection flood fill with black. Keep selected. Add new layer Selections/modify/contract by 8. Flood fill with #9DABBF. Selections/modify/contract by 5, hit delete key. Deselect.

Load wing selection to same layer. Erase bottom lines. Use draw tool set on bezier curve size 4 draw some lines from top points to points at bottom. see image.

Apply Gaussian Blur set at 2. Use eye candy Jiggle with these settings

Gaussian Blur 2 again. Deselect.

Add new layer use body selection. Flood fill with 3B4055. Deselect Apply gaussian blur 2 and jiggle then blur again. This makes a cool soft fuzzy. This fuzzy tip is one I learned from Jo-Ellen.

Add new layer use body selection again. Apply cut out

vertical 6 horizontal 9

opacity 85 blur 63.1

color 38414E

repeat using -6 -9 with same blur and opacity.

Merge visible body layers.

Do the same for head as you did for body. Using color 555B73

Now for the ears. Add new layer use ear selection flood fill with 5A5B5E. Gaussian blur 2, jiggle, then blur again. Add new layer load ear selection again, selection/modify/ contract 5. Flood fill with 94A1B3. Again blur, jiggle, blur. Add new layer use air brush and spray a few circles on the inside of ear. blur, jiggle, blur again. Merge the 3 ear layer visible. Now duplicate ear and mirror image arrange both ears to your liking and move both down behind head.

Whew now that is done I need some coffee. Break time.

Ok got my coffee and a snack. Ready to get back to work? lol

Add new layer, use eye selection flood fill with white. Keep selected. Use the air brush with these settings use a blue for the inside of his eyes.

Change to black, change the size to about 25 or to what you like a couple sprays should do it. It is up to you how much black to add. Duplicate layer, then mirror image. Click back on the first eye layer. Add new layer load eye selection make a white dot for high light. Duplicate highlight layer and position it on other eye. Merge high light to eye.

Add new layer and selection for the tooth. Flood fill with white. Duplicate it and mirro image.

Add new layer and selection for tongue, flood fill with red. Move tongue below teeth.

Add new layer for cheeks selection. Flood fill with 6B7E97 deselect gaussian blur 2, jiggle as before and gaussian blur again.

Add new layer for cheeks again. Selection/modify/contract by 10 flood fill with 9DBBF. deselect/blur/jiggle/blur again. whew almost done now

Arrange your teeth and tongue layers and eye to how you want them to look. If too much eye bottom shows you can soften it with the retouch tool.

Add new layer for nose. Flood fill with black. Use these inter bevel settings.

Gaussian blur 1. hehe though you though I was going to say jiggle and blur again huh hehehe.

Ok now Harrison Bat is done. Hope you had fun making him. I have fun and giggled all the way threw creating him. That's what PSP is for. HAVING FUN
