By using this tutorial you agree to my
terms Below
is the smudge settings I
used.

Air
brush settings.

I
use
the
Hairy
brushes
If you don't have
them
you
can
get
the
brushes
HERE
You
can
get
the
alpha
channel
canvas
HERE
For
those
using
the
alpha
channel
canvas:
For
each step load alpha
channel selections,
then flood fill
with certain colors.
To keep from typing
the same thing for
each layer I will
just type the layer
we will be working
on. After
you
have
flood
fill
the
layer
click on the lock
in the layer pallet. I like to do my shading
on
the
one
layer
for
leaves
and
easy
things.
Stems:
Flood
fill
with
the
first
green
on
chart.
Apply
cutout
using
these
settings.
vertical
and
horizontal
0,
opacity
100,
blur
2,
color #292d21.
Buds:
Flood
fill
with
2nd
color
on
chart.
Airbrush 1st,
3rd
and
4th
color
as
in
screen
shot.
Smudge going
down
to
blend

First
Leaf
layer:
Flood
fill
with second
color
on
chart.
We
will
use
the
same
colors
above
for
the
leaves.
Use the
5th
color
for
the
dark
areas
on
the
large
leaf.
Smudge
to
blend
Use
the
3rd
and
4th
colors
on
the
smaller
leaves.

Leaves:
for
the
rest
of
the
leaves
use
the
same
colors
as
above.
Smudge
in
a
down
ward
motion.
Below
is
how
I
did
the
shading.

Flowers:
Flood
fill
with
first
pink
color
on
chart.
If
you
used
the
alpha
channel
keep
it
selected.
If
you
did
your
own
vectors
select
it
then
modify
contract
by
2.
Air
brush
with
4th
color
then
with
2nd
color
towards
center.
Deselect
and
airbrush
with
3rd
color
down
center
and
to
the
center
of
flower.
Smudge
to
blend.
Use
the
5th
color
to
make
the
lines
and
dots
as
in
screen
shot.
Do
the
same
for
the
rest
of
the
flower
petals.
This
is
what
I
came
up
with.

Flower
Centers:
I
used
black
for
the
screen
shot
so
it
would
be
easier
for
you
to
see.
I
know
when
I
was
drawing
it
in
the
yellow
it
was
hard
for
me
to
see.
LOL
Use
the
pen
tool
point
to
point
size
3,
connect
segments
unchecked.
Color
##f3cb14
set
to
foreground
and
back
ground
set
to
nil.
Draw
lines
as
I
did
starting
at
the
center
of
flower.
Click
apply.
Invert
color
and
use
the
preset
shape
ellipse
and
make
some
small
ovals
at
the
ends
of
the
out
side
lines.
At
the
top
make
some
small
circles.
Convert
to
raster
layer.
Click on the lock
in the layer pallet. Apply
cutout
using
these
settings.
vertical
and
horizontal
0,
opacity
100,
blur
2,
color
#de5908.
Spray
the
ends
of
the
outs
side
ones
with
color
#de5908.
For
the
tallest
one
use
color
#fcf1be
This
is
how
mine
looks
when
finished.
Duplicate
it
2
times
and
move
to
other
flowers.

Flower
Buds:
Flood
fill
with #749e30.
Use
a
combination
of
the
light
green
and
pink
colors.
Smudge
to
blend.
All
that
is
left
is
to
do
some
drop
shadows
and
touch
ups.
That's
all
there
is
to
it.
Hope everyone had fun with this.
