Brush Stencil's Using The Eraser

By using this tutorial you agree to my terms
We are going to make a stencil using brushes and the eraser.
You will need the country tile and can get it Here. You will need to go to Nanettes-Place to get the brushes for this.
This was written using PSP 7 but is workable with 6. In PSP 6 you will have to make canvas size larger 475X475 to 500X500. PSP 6 wont let you resize brushes.
1. Open 400X400 transparent background. Flood fill with black.
2. Add new layer flood fill with Country Checks set at 10 name it Stencil.

3. Open eraser tool and choose brush to use. Set size to 205.

4. Line up brush as in screen shot, click once.

5. Click on Image/Mirror. Now what you erased will be on the opposite side. Use same marking to erase again.

6. Click on Image/Flip, use same markings to erase again.

7. Click on Image/Mirror. Use same markings to erase again.

8. Click on Selection tool set at ellipse, start at center using the setting on screen shot. Move it up till you get the size you want for the circle. Then click once to erase. The right screen shot is what you should have now.

Ok now take a break. The hard part is done. LOL
Now it is time to have fun decorating your graphic.
9. You can delete te black layer we don't need it any more. Add new layer and flood fill with the pink tile (or what ever tile you chose). This will be your bottom layer.
10. Click on the layer with the stencil. Go to Effects/3D/Drop Shadow use these settings.

11. Open graphic and copy/paste as new layer. Apply drop shadow again if you like to the graphic.
12. Go to Image/Add/Border set at 20.

13. Use Magic Wand click inside of border. Flood fill with Country Check tile set at 100 angel 0.
14. Go to Effects/3D/Inner Bevel use these setting. Deselect and your picture is done.

Hope you have enjoyed this.
