Feel free to use your own colors for this.

For this tutorial you will need Jasc PSP 9 . This was written using 9 but it can be done in 8 or 7 with a few adjustments.

Airbrush settings.

Smudge settings.

1. Load alpha channel wings. Flood fill with the first color on chart. deselect In the layer palette click the lock to lock the transparency. Use the second color for shading for the shading. Change airbrush size to 15 and go around the out side. Change back to 7 for the inside shape of wing using the third color on chart. Smudge to blend.

2. Load alpha channel leg down flood fill with the first color on the flesh colors. Use the 4th color for out side edges and knee and ankle as in screen shot. Use the last color for the high light in screen shot. Smudge to blend.

3. Load leg up alpha channel flood fill with first color on the flesh colors. Use the 4th color for the side edges and toes. Do Not spray the left end of leg. Use the last color for the high light. Smudge to blend.

Load same alpha channel then add new layer. Use the 3rd color to add some toes. Change size to about 3 to 5. Use # E68E82 for the toe nails. Smudge to blend.

4. Load alpha channel drape (couldn't think of any thing else to call it) LOL flood fill with the first red color. Use the darker red for the shading. Smudge to blend.

5. Load alpha channel heart, flood fill with white. Keep selected. Go to selections/modify/contract by 8. Invert selection then hit delete. Deselect. Now hold down the ctrl key and click on A then F to selecte again. Apply any Blade Pro or Super Blade Pro you like. I used a gold glitter. Deselect. Sharpen Add new layer and load heart alpha channel again selections/modify/contract by 2and flood fill with the red. Move this layer under the other heart layer. Use dark red to brush around edges. Smudge to blend. Change the density to 1 and use a gold gradient and spray around inside of heart.

6. Load alpha channel body flood fill with the first flesh color. Use the 4th color for the shading. I went ahead and loaded the top and flood filled with red and did the same for the head with the first flesh color to see where I didn't have to shade on the body. Make sure you did the head and top on their own layers. LOL I forgot to click on there layers and put then on the body layer. Didn't work too good that way LOL Do the same for the fingers as you did for the toes. Smudge to blend.

Click on the top layer and use dark red for the shading. Smudge to blend.

For the head layer you can use mine that was in the down load or use the alpha channel to make your own face.

7. Load the hair alpha channel. Choose 2 colors for hair. Flood fill with the lighter color. Use the paint brush and choose the hair-tight curls preset. ( for 8 and 9 only) Keep selected and set brush to 15. Paint all over. Deselect Change the size to about 10 and rotation to 284. Zoom in close so you can just tap once close to the edge of the top. As you move to the sides of hair change the direction of the rotation. For the inside by the face change size to about 8 and change the rotation again.

8. Load alpha channel arrow 1. Flood fill with the first off white color on chart. Use a bright yellow or gold gradient to out line the arrow. On the inside use gold or yellow for strips and lightly use some dark brown. Smudge to blend.

9. Load the arrow 2 alpha channel. Flood fill with # 60320A then apply the Pillow bevel. Use the off white color size 3 and go down the shaft. Click once at top, then move cursor down to bottom and hold down the shift key and click once. That will make a straight line all the down the middle of shaft. Smudge lightly.

10. Load the arrow 3 alpha channel. Flood fill with the red and use the dark red for the out side shading. Use white as a high light as in screen shot. Smudge to blend.

11. Load fingers alpha channel. Flood fill with the 1st flesh color, use the 4th one for the shading around edges. Use the 2nd one for the fingers lines as in screen shot. Do it the same as you did for the toes.
