Feel free to use your own colors for this.

For this tutorial you will need Jasc PSP 8 . Can be done in 7 too.

You will also need Eye Candy 3.

You will need alpha-channel canvas here.

1. Open leg alpha-channel. Flood fill with # FFBF41. Add new layer. Set foreground color to #FCFA44 and background to #CF8621. Use air brush with these settings. Size: 177, Hardness: 100, Step: 25, Density: 1, Thickness: 100, Rotation: 0, Opacity: 100.  Click a couple times with each color. Next add motion blur, angel 176, strength 12. Deselect. Turn off all layers but the 2 leg layers and merge visible. Lock layer pallet and use air brush to shade the edges using these settings. Color #CF8621 Size: 30, Hardness: 7, Step: 24, Density: 100, Thickness: 100, Rotation: 100.  If you are using PSP7 you wont have thickness or rotation. Opacity: 24.  Now change the thickness to 9, and rotation to 43 click a few time to make web lines on the toe area..Use the lighten and darken tool to lighten up the middle of leg and knee area and on toes.  Duplicate layer and move over for left leg. You will be able to line it up when you get to the dress layer.

2. Load arm alpha-channel. Flood fill with white. Add new layer. Set foreground color to #FEFDC2.  Use air brush with these settings. Size: 106, Hardness: 100, Step: 25, Density: 1, Thickness: 100, Rotation: 0, Opacity: 100.  Click a couple times with color. Next add motion blur, angel 202, strength 12. Deselect. Turn off all layers but the 2 arm layers and merge visible. Lock layer pallet and use air brush to shade the edges using these settings. Color #FEFDC2 Size: 30, Hardness: 7, Step: 24, Density: 100, Thickness: 100, Rotation: 100.  Opacity: 24. Unlock layer pallet. Add noise of 6%, uniform and monochrome checked. Apply eye candy 4000  jiggle using these settings.

3.Load the hat back alpha-channel. Flood fill with # CA9124. Apply the eye candy weave using these settings.

Lock transparency and air brush around edges with # CA9124. Change to the lightness and darkness tool, use these settings. Size: 13, Hardness: 0, Step: 25, Density: 100, Thickness: 100, Rotation: 125.  Opacity: 55. Darken around the top part of the hat.

4. Load the body alpha-channel. Do the same as you did for the arm.

5. Load the dress alpha-channel. Flood fill with # 82DA82, set background with #2D972D. Lock layer transparency and spray around edges with these settings Size: 45, Hardness: 7, Step: 24, Density: 100, Thickness: 100, Rotation: 100.  Opacity: 24. Now change the thickness to 15, and rotation to 139. Click a few times to get shading as in screen shot.

Adjust the rotation as you move the brush over. I started on the right and went left. Use the lightness brush with same setting as above. Click in between the shaded areas.  Change to the smudge brush using these settings. Size: 45, Hardness: 7, Step: 24, Density: 100, Thickness: 100, Rotation: 100.  Opacity: 24. Blend the lines till they look smooth. You can pull in the out side shading to blend too. Don't forget to line up your legs so they match the folds of the dress. Adjust the arms now too.

6. Load the sleeve alpha-channel. Do the same as you did for the dress. Duplicate/mirror and flip sleeve for other arm. Adjust the sleeve and arm for both. Use the soften tool to smooth out the edges where the sleeve and dress meet.

7. Load the ribbon (belt) alpha-channel, flood fill with a matching gradient.

8. Load the hat top alpha-channel, flood fill with E3B961. Apply the same eye candy weave. Lock layer and air brush around edges with CA9124. Use the lighten tool to add some high lights. You can add some flower and leaves if you want.

9. Load the bottom beak alpha-channel. Flood fill with #B84858. Use the lighten tool to add some high lights.

10. Load the beak alpha-channel. Flood fill with #FFBF41. Add new layer. Set foreground color to #FFDD9B and background to #C48100. Use air brush with these settings. Size: 67, Hardness: 100, Step: 25, Density: 1, Thickness: 100, Rotation: 0, Opacity: 100.  Click a couple times with each color. Next add motion blur, angel 180, strength 12. Deselect. Turn off all layers but the 2 beak layers and merge visible. Lock layer pallet and use air brush to shade the edges using these settings. Color #C48100 Size: 25, Hardness: 7, Step: 24, Density: 100, Thickness: 100, Rotation: 100.

Make your eye or use the ones in the down load. All that is left to do is to add your drop shadows and flower or what ever you want to add to her.
