For this tutorial you will need Jasc PSP 8 .

You will also need Eye Candy 3.

This was written using 8 but it can be done in 7 with a few adjustments.

Below is the smudge settings I used.

Air brush settings.

You will need my alpha channel canvas and  supplies here.  On the canvas I have placed the colors I used.

1. Load alpha channel wings. Flood fill with the lightest color on chart. Add noise 15%, gaussian blur 2.  Then apply eye candy 3 jiggle with these settings.

2. Load alpha channel left foot and flood fill with first flesh color.  Click on the lock in the layer pallet Use air brush setting above and brush around edges. Use draw tool size 2  second flesh color. Freehand and draw some lines between the toes and a crease where her ankle bends. Gaussian blur 2. Use color #E1B4B7 to lightly air brush some toe nails. Change to draw tool again size 2 second flesh color and draw in some lines for the nail bed, gaussian blur 1.50.

3. Load alpha channel head and arms. Flood fill with the flesh color. Lock layer pallet and spray second flesh color around edges. Spray a little to make a chin then smudge to blend. Use draw tool size 2 to make finger on right hand. You can draw your own face on or use on that is provided.

4. Load alpha channel left hand flood fill with flesh color. Lock layer pallet and spray around edges.

5. Load alpha channel dress flood fill with 3rd color on chart. Add new layer and spray as in screen shot. I used the first color on chart.

 Smudge to blend. Add new layer and use the last 2 colors to add some high lights. You can lower the opacity if you spray too much.

6. Click on the selection tool and choose rectangle. Drag out a rectangle as in screen shot. Go to selections/edit selection (your rectangle will turn red) then click on the deform tool use the right node to turn selection till it lines up with dress. Click edit selection again. Click on selection tool then click inside the rectangle and the top part of dress will be selected. Flood fill with dot tile provided. Use soften tool to soften the edge.

7. Load alpha channel right foot and flood fill with first flesh color. Lock layer pallet and air brush around edges.

8. For the hair I use the hair-tight curls brush. If you are using PSP 7 I have provided a hair tub I made. Optional I use fur in eye candy to straighten it some.
