For this tutorial you will need Jasc PSP 8 .

You will need the canvas here.

This is the air brush settings I use.

This is the smudge settings I use.

This is a very fast and easy way to make Ocean Rocks. I used a tile that came with PSP 8. For those that use 7 I have include it in the zip. Just put it in the patterns folder.

You can make your own shape for the rocks or use my canvas.

1. Open alpha channel selection 1 flood fill with tan-green scale tile. Add new layer use colors #4F4C24  and #5A3F20 airbrush size 8. Paint some shading like in screen shot. We are creating shadows so it lookes like there is more than just the one rock. Change the size to about 25 then go around top and side edges. Smudge to blend.

Do the same for the other rock alpha channels. You can use the lighten/darken brush too.  Feel free to make your own shapes for the rocks too.
